Supreme Persil

Room 10 decided to do a experiment about washing powder to see if Persil will wash better or supreme or could it even be water. To try this out we needed 2 buckets and 3 dirty singlets. The first thing we did was we had really clean white singlets so we got 3 people to make it very very dirty. When they were done we had to fill our 3 buckets full of water. So first we tried water and it didn't work so well it still had the stains. Then when we tried out Supreme it was kind of good it wasn't that bad I mean I would use it but it still had a little bit of stains. We saved the best for last because it was persil and like a lot of people use persil I thought it wasn't going to be cleaner then supreme, but it was so I wrong but it still had just a little bit of stains not to bad but it was cleaner.


Task Description: When we did this experiment I picked Supreme there weren't that much who picked Supreme, but a lot of people who picked persil. Here is the link of how we thought about the experiment before we even did it. Experiment. Thanks for reading about Room 10 experiment.

Task Description: When I first heard that we could sighn up to be an ambassador. I was so excited I just couldn't wait but if I really wanted to be one I had to do my work at a high level. So I tried working through my blog and trying to fix everthing. I thought it was ok and I just hope I get chossen. even if I don't I will still be me. Hope you enjoy my ambassador application.

Task Description: When I made this I had to show all the atoms in how the atoms in gas works. And how the atoms in  liquids. Even how the atoms work in solids. 

This took me a long time but I managed to get through the whole thing. I just hope that if you watched this I really like really hope you enjoyed.

Task Description: I had to do mine and a lot of my other friends. It was really fun trying to do ryming things. I just had to make a copy of a doc where you write your sentences that your going to say when you record yourself saying it. So yeah you can listen to it.

Task Description: I had to go to websites and figure out like what is Hydrophobic and what is Hydrophilic and it was really interesting. The Hydrophobic takes all the dirty things off the clothes and the Hydrophilic just makes water to make it easy for the Hydrophobic.

The game was called space alien arcade, and as soon as they played it they had already liked it. It was getting dark they hadn’t eaten when they had a few snacks that night. Their mum and dad found out then told them to clean up, but Lisa and Joey chose not to. Joey and Lisa made a big mistake.

Task Description: When I wrote this I had to read a task about two fitness watches the Fit bit and Garmin. It was really cool doing the advice blog because I got to meet Chris yoddles brother. Even thought our teacher just makes them up I still think it's cool.

Task Description: This is my athletes t-shirt it's not that much but yeah I tried my best. Down here is the doc where I had to choose my logos for my athlete. The money that I got altogether was $14,000. I picked adidas and Canterbury because it's one of my my favourites so I didn't really go for the money.    

Difference between triathlon and tryathlon

The tri for triathlon is he 3 things the three things are cycling,running,and swimming. But the try for tryathlon is when your trying to beat the other person in running. So yeah that is the difference between triathlon and tryathlon.

Task Description: We had to read an article which was called Give it a try. Then once we finished reading that we had to answer the questions on the doc called give it a try.

Rio 2016 Olympics

Walt: use a plan when writing.
So today is the day when the best people from around the world goes to the Rio Olympics 2016. Olympics is when the best people around the world get picked and not just people in one country get picked like from other country's. Then when they get picked they face other country's who ever comes 1st 2nd or 3rd they get medals the third place gets a bronze medal the second place get a silver medal, and last but not least the first place gets a golden medal. 

What I am excited about the Olympics  is me spotting logos on peoples T-shirts because that is what we are doing for this term. I also want to spot Usain Bolt drinking gatorade because some people don't usually spot him on camera. So that is what I am excited for the olympics 

The athlete that I really want to see play hurdles is Nevan Yanit because she has won one gold medal. Nevan Yanit Is a Turkish sprinter specialising hurdles. She is a two time European champion in the 100m hurdles. 

Task Description: We had to do 3 paragraphs the first one was about introduing oylmpics the second one was about what we were excited about and the third one was about what sport we wanted to see and the athlete. 

Rio 2016 Olympics

For 4 years I have been training and now the time has come. The time when I get to compete in the OLYMPICS. As time pass by I have been training knowing that I am a champion. Now the time has come for me to face other countries and represent New Zealand.

To compete in the olympics you have to be good at something like for example I am good at the hurdles. So you will have to face other people that you don’t even know. The sport that I will  be playing is hurdles if you don’t know what that is it is when you have a race and in that race there are high obstacles that you can leap over who ever makes it to the finish line first wins. I picked the hurdles because it isn’t that hard for me because all you do is just  jump and sprint to get to the finish line. If I come 2nd or 3nd I would still be happy because at least I made it that far.

Competing in the olympics I am going to represent NZ because I was born in New Zealand and I am doing it for my family who are in NZ. Another reason is because in New Zealand there are a lot of famous sport players and one day I want to be just like them. I would like to represent NZ because I am doing it for people in my family who has past away. Hurdles for me it has been an awesome sport so that's why I would rather play that sport then different ones.

If I was competing in the olympics I would be so excited because I mean come on it’s the olympics. But if I was there I would be proud and excited at the same time I would also be nervous. To be competing in the olympics it would be a miracle to me I mean I have been training for this just for 4 years. I think if I was there it would be kind of weird because you're competing different kinds of countries and you wouldn't know if they're good or not.

Going to the olympics would be AMAZING but how would you feel if you were going to the olympics rio 2016? To all those people who are representing NZ I give a shout to them and say that you can do this never give up because you are a champion. Just so you know if I came 2nd or 3nd I should be proud of myself because at least I came a place but if I came 1st well some people say that is my dream but not really I just want people to know that there are other people in the world that are talented.

Task Description: We had to do our plan and think about vocab because you know we have a lot of cool ideas in our head. Then as a class we did our introduction. After that we finished it off by our self's.

My Duffy book

My book is called book uncle and me and it is about two people and there is one person who has an uncle and he loves to read books. Her uncle loves books so much but there was one book that he really loved  that book that he loved he gave it to her and she loved it to, but it was like a old fashion book so she wasn't really interested into it. one day she saw a old man he looked just like the man on the book she read about but instead of young he was really old she got to talk to him and get a long with him. Now she knew why her uncle really loved the book maybe because he loved the character because he was so famous. So one day she told her uncle if she could borrow the book because she didn't really get to read the whole book. So she really loved the books that her uncle would read and she thought that when she gets older maybe she could do the same thing.

Task Description: Thanks for reading my book I read it and as I was reading this book it was like a Indian book. If I was you I would really want to read this but at the same time I wouldn't because like I didn't really like it I didn't really find it interesting but yeah I don't know if it would be a good book to read.

Black storm and the smelly egg plant

Walt: write a setting description.

Black storm is a girl who has super powers she can heal and she can make big black storms. I mean duh why wouldn't she her name is called black storm yeah well anyway read this strange paragraph wait how about just read the whole thing.  

One day black storm was cruising down the street when she saw a eggplant walking, she was like I did not know eggplants could walk. As she got closer she couldn't see any mouth not even a face!!! Black storm couldn't believe she was going to talk the eggplant but she did any way. “ Hello little guy what are you doing out in the streets  aren't you supposed to be on people's plates for snacks and dinner or something” , the egg plant ran down path way saying I hate you I hate you person. Black storm  thought to herself oh it can talk?.

On that day black storm thought that the egg plant was lovely but freaky at the same time. Black storm went to the bank to get some money for the mall. Then that was she saw the egg plant again but when she said it was lovely she thought she had to take back those words and replace it with evil, because it was robbing the bank!!!. She said it was time for BLACK STORM!!!! She ripped off her clothes and out of nowhere she was wearing her uniform then that was then the storm came out it was a amazing entrance.  

As she stepped into the bank she saw the egg plant farting she said oh that is how it got away with it. Black storm saw a gas mask she grabbed it then she put it on. She used her powers by doing a storm and with the gas mask on there was no way the egg plant could have got away with it. As Black storm made lightening she forced it to come near the eggplant then the eggplant was roasted. Everyone cheered for her they all got their money back and black storm got to have a roasted eggplant.  


Task Description: we had to draw a character and obviously name it when we finished all of that we had to write a piece of writing about our drawing.

When we finished our padlet we had to move on to our post card and it is about pretending we were Ah sum he was a man in the story we had had to pretend we were Ah sum and write a leter to his family.
